About Me

My husband/biggest fan has been my ongoing source of encouragement with this business venture. I've spent countless hours in my kitchen over the past 9 years. On those frustrating nights & in the wee hours of the morning, I can count on him to help with our children so I can get a few hours of rest. Without this support, I could not continue to live my dream.

My crafting and baking interests began with my great-grandmother. During my childhood, my great-grandparents had placed their camper in our 100 acre "backyard". They came to visit every-other week during the summer months. If I wasn't playing with our animals, I was most likely at Grandma's side, watching her arthritis stricken fingers crochet with ease. We were both lefties and she was so unbelievably patient with me. Although, I would become easily frustrated, having her as a teacher always felt natural.

I had always been mesmerized by the many craft mediums that Grandma was skilled with. She could do ANYTHING. Because of her, I have made it a mission to learn as many skills and crafts as I can. You never know what you'll need and when. When it comes to cakes, I can tie all of my hobbies together. I love the gratification that comes from finishing a project --whether it's my latest buttercream or fondant creation, bringing my wooden pole people to life, or leisurely sitting at the table with my children while we draw a picture together. The small things in life are truly what makes me happy and feel so blessed!
